on your doorstep from Mount Wellington
Little Moa's is right here in Mount Wellington, on Thompson Park Road just off the edge of Ellerslie. For Mount Wellington whānau, we're the local, walk-in-the-gate early learning centre — sun-filled rooms, an edible garden, refined sugar-free kai and teachers who know your child by name.

Every meal and snack is made on site from raw, wholesome ingredients — included in your fees, with dietary needs catered for.
Sand, soil, grass, fruit trees and veggie gardens instead of wall-to-wall plastic. Children grow, harvest and cook what they eat.
Kōwhai Nest, Rata Grove and Kauri Forest give infants, toddlers and older tamariki rooms that suit their age and stage.
Worm farms, composting, cloth nappies, recycled art materials and green housekeeping — kaitiakitanga in practice.
A passionate team who partner with whānau, and a bicultural curriculum grounded in Te Whāriki.
20 Hours ECE for 3–5 year olds, WINZ subsidy help and a 10% sibling discount for families with two or more children.
Children from Mount Wellington settle quickly here. Mornings start with free play and a shared kai, followed by gardening, art, music, stories and plenty of time outdoors. Our kaiako document learning through portfolios so you can see exactly how your child is growing.

Thank you for always putting our children first. All the teachers are amazing! My daughter has learnt more from Little Moa's than she has at home and I can't thank you all enough. You ladies are amazing!
I just love the whole approach and ethos behind Little Moa's — it makes me feel like it's a home-away-from-home when my son attends during the week.
Pop in for a look around, meet the team and see if Little Moa's feels like home for your tamaiti.
